It was a complete horror show. Episode 8 comes out January, 30th. Really been shopping in earnest for an Opel. What should we buy next?

depends on budget... get a bricklin. they can still be had dirt cheap from what I can tell, and its a ford drivetrain, so not out of the realm of what you guys are used to wrenching on. otherwise for cheap fun I have been looking at mitsubishi starions.

I’d love a Bricklin. But here in Canada they’re not super cheap and most are over $10k. Our budget would be around $7k max and we’d prefer closer to $3k. Starions are cool but rare as hen’s teeth these days.

Ouch...expensive, though they have been going up in value.
Was it really rusty?

Hahaha, that is the most modest infestation of stinging insects in a car that I have ever seen a man recoil from in horror.
I know that sounds really specific, but I’ve dragged around a lot of old cars full of bees. I mean come on, mud daubers? I know ya’ll are Canadian and all, but mud daubers are like the wussiest, least aggressive of all wasps. Count your lucky stars fellas! A mud dauber nest is nothing like ten thousand Africanized honey bees emerging from the inner-fender of a Plymouth Belvedere and descending upon you like a biblical fucking plague.
Ball-busting aside though, you guys are churning out some A+ content. Keep going so I can brag about having subscribed to your channel “way back” at 1.3K!

Canadian bugs (like Canadians themselves) are not that vicious. It was more the gross-out factor more than imminent threat to life. Thanks for subscribing!
